We are looking for a highly skilled technical professional to join our team as an Immersive Integration Specialist.
This role involves driving initiatives to create a seamless integration of Chargebee with Salesforce CRM and owning the Salesforce CPQ Integration. As a key member of the engineering team, you will partner with Product Management, Stability, and other cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional experience that sets us apart in the enterprise subscription business.
- You will participate in cross-functional forums to contribute opinionated decisions on architecture choices and API specs.
- Design and implement technical solutions for features, document decisions, and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Ideate on emerging technologies, test and build pilots for adoption, and demonstrate them to the broader engineering community.
- Review feature requests, debate their relevance, and aid the Product Manager in rescoping them.
- Design, code, and implement stable and functional Salesforce applications.
- Own code quality by writing clean code and setting up GitHub flows or CI/CD.
- Own code reviews and unblock others in the team.
- Work on customer-reported issues and bring them to closure.
- Release managed packages and integrations with Salesforce packaged releases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and take ownership of releasing new features.
- Proactively identify and resolve application performance concerns.
- Work independently with developers, cloud engineers, product managers, and customers.
- 6-10 years of experience with Salesforce development and working with large teams in distributed product engineering setups.
- Experience building scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications on Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, or any RDBMS.
- A passion for writing high-quality code and upholding best engineering, security, and design practices.
- Good understanding of secure coding concepts and ability to interpret security reports.
- Experience integrating with third-party platforms is an advantage.
- Experience creating/supporting production software/systems and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Ability to identify problems with requirements, identify alternatives, and help the team navigate issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to condense complicated scenarios into simple assessments.
- Be an effective team player with experience coaching and supporting junior team members.
- Experience operating using Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence.
