Quality Assurance Expert

The role of a Quality Assurance Expert is to play a pivotal part in ensuring the high quality of our software releases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback, thus contributing to the delivery of high-quality software releases.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests that cater to the evolving needs of the software development process.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks to improve capabilities and increase test coverage, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of the software product.
  • Perform automated and manual testing of our products to ensure high-quality releases and deliverables.
  • Document results of tests for the software development team to facilitate effective decision-making and informed progress tracking.

This position involves delivering high-quality software in a release cycle while also collaborating with the QA team to define, improve, and implement QA best practices. You will be responsible for representing QA at stand-ups and project meetings, providing valuable insights and expertise to drive quality initiatives forward.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field along with 3-7 years of experience in software QA engineering.
  • Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases that meet the demands of the ever-evolving software landscape.
  • Experience in driving quality through process, requirements, and testing, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and adaptation.
  • Hands-on experience with designing and developing UI automation frameworks using Java with Selenium or Appium.
  • Proficiency in developing test automation using Java, Selenium, JUnit, CI/CD pipeline, SQL, and knowledge of related databases.

A flexible attitude, a positive outlook, fast learning abilities, good problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision are essential qualities for this position.
