Electrical Engineer Job Description

At Jay FineChem Private Limited, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Issuing permits and ensuring proper closure for electrical work
  • Planning, coordinating, and overseeing site activities related to SITC from initiation to completion
  • Supervising and conducting regular inspection and quality checks to ensure workmanship and compliance
  • Providing technical guidance to project teams, contractors, and technicians
  • Monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and verifying compliance with drawings and specifications
  • Managing man and material planning, procurement, and inspection of goods
  • Verifying measurements and bills to ensure accuracy and alignment with project scope and contracts
  • Assisting in procurement and service, material codes, and inspection of goods on receipt in store
  • Hands-on experience with various electrical equipment and systems, including HT and LT equipment, intelligent MCC, VFDs, FLP equipment, motors, etc.
  • Developing and implementing SOPs for maintenance and safety procedures
  • Circuit designs, ability to manipulate logic, perform modifications, and safety interlocks
  • Excellent leadership, communication, motivational, and problem-solving skills
  • Maintaining records: work order, maintenance report log, history card, root cause analysis, down-time critical equipment, etc.
  • Identifying and maintaining critical spare availability
  • Improving safety environment in the plant by analyzing risk factors
  • Conducting toolbox talks, identifying training needs, and providing technical training to subordinates
  • Preparing audit-related compliance documents
Requirements:
  • Diploma with 4-5 years of experience or B.E. (Electrical) with minimum 2-3 years of experience
  • Experience in the Chemical/Pharma chemical industry
  • Electrical Supervisor Certificate of Competency
  • Proven track record in Electrical Project Execution and Maintenance
  • Location: Vapi, suitable candidate must be residing within 30 Kms
  • Budget Salary range: 3.5-6 Lakhs based on experience and knowledge
