Actuarial Data Science Expert for Insurance Modeling

About this Role: We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Data Scientist to join our Data and AI capability.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have 3 - 7 years of experience in data-driven decision-making, specializing in actuarial modeling, statistical analysis, and data science techniques.
They will be skilled in leveraging mathematical expertise to assess financial risks, optimize insurance pricing models, and develop predictive models using advanced data science methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage actuarial science tools and techniques to develop accurate risk assessment and pricing models
- Analyze complex data sets using Python (Pandas, NumPy), R (actuarial science packages), SQL, and Excel for data manipulation, cleaning, and ETL processes
- Develop machine learning models using libraries like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and actuarial-specific packages in R
- Create data-driven visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and Seaborn to transform technical findings into meaningful insights for non-technical audiences
Requirements:
- 3 - 7 years of experience in actuarial data science or a related field
- Proficient in actuarial science tools and techniques, including frequency and severity modeling, survival analysis, and risk assessment methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages, including Python, R, and SQL
- Experience with data science libraries, including Pandas, Seaborn, and Matplotlib
