Process Safety Expert

We are seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the offshore production facilities and high-pressure gas processing systems, you will be responsible for ensuring safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create process deliverables for conceptual, FEED, and EPC projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.
  • Develop hazardous area classification schedules and drawings, applying industry standards and regulations.
  • Design process safety for production systems, including crude oil, produced water treatment, water injection, and condensate treatment, minimizing risks and optimizing efficiency.
  • Design process safety for utility systems, such as potable water, sea water, closed cooling water, compressed air, instrument air, nitrogen, flare and vent, closed drain, chemical injection, and fuel gas treatment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Review and provide guidance on discipline engineering and design deliverables, including P&ID and datasheets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Sizing of flare networks and reporting using standard tools like Hysys and FlareNet, providing accurate and reliable results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process safety engineering, with a proven track record of successful project deliveries.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in process safety.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
