Automation Tester

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests with attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with QA, development, and business teams to ensure test coverage and adhere to quality standards.
  • Enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Generate and share detailed test reports and metrics effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar.
    • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
    • Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
    • Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
    • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative Agile team.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation.
  • ISTQB or relevant QA certifications (preferred).
