Role Overview

As a skilled Data Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in empowering clients to make informed decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering: Develop and deploy scalable data architectures in cloud environments, including workspace configuration, cluster management, and storage.
  • Workflow Automation: Experience with workflow automation tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Azure Data Factory pipelines to streamline data processing.
  • Big Data Systems: Knowledge of big data frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for efficient data management.
  • Platform Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL, Python, and data transformation logic, with proficiency in at least one major platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Data Governance: Understanding of data governance, cataloging, and metadata management principles.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Cloud Certifications: Holding cloud certifications can be advantageous.
  • Modern Data Infrastructure: Experience with modern data infrastructure (Snowflake, Delta Lake, Databricks) can be beneficial.
  • Real-time Processing: Exposure to real-time processing frameworks (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink) can be valuable.
  • DevOps/MLOps: Knowledge of DevOps/MLOps principles or experience supporting ML workflows is a plus.
