We are seeking a talented Furniture Designer to join our team.

As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating innovative, modern, and cost-effective designs for engineered wood furniture.

Your primary focus will be on developing 2D/3D drawings and generating CNC machining files (nesting layouts, toolpaths, G-code) using CAD/CAM software.

You will work closely with the production and operations teams to convert design concepts into scalable mass-production models.

To achieve this, you will need to balance creativity with technical expertise and practical knowledge of joinery, fittings, and CNC machining for engineered wood.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create modern and cost-efficient designs for engineered wood furniture
  • Develop 2D/3D drawings and generate CNC machining files
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure efficient material utilization
  • Optimize board usage to minimize wastage
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Wood Technology
  • ITI/Polytechnic candidates with relevant CNC/furniture design experience will also be considered
Software Proficiency:
  • Able to use at least two CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Fusion 360 / SolidWorks, Cabinet Vision, Vectric Aspire / Cabinet Vision
Experience:
  • 1–3 years of experience for Junior Designer OR 3–5 years of experience for Senior Designer
  • Freshers with strong CAD/CAM portfolio may also apply
Other Skills:
  • Creativity with focus on modern and cost-effective design
  • Understanding of modular furniture design & hardware fittings
  • Strong coordination skills with production teams
