Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled software developer with extensive experience in Fortran programming, complex SQL queries, and OpenVMS operating system environments. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in legacy system maintenance and modernization, as well as the ability to cross-skill into Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on mission-critical systems developed using customized Fortran and Java technologies.
  • Perform application-level performance analysis and tuning for Fortran-based applications.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications in OpenVMS and other environments.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and accuracy.
  • Identify application bottlenecks and bugs, and provide effective solutions.
  • Proactively monitor systems to identify failures and implement preventive actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Fortran programming, including customized/legacy implementations.
  • Strong experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in OpenVMS operating system environments.
  • Familiarity or willingness to cross-skill in Java technology stacks.
  • Experience with application performance tuning and profiling.
  • Strong understanding of code quality, debugging, and automation best practices.
