Job Title: Film Internship Opportunity

About the Project

We are a documentary film production company working on a project that highlights India's advancements in space science and technology. The goal is to showcase the nation's achievements through strong narrative craft and creative execution.

Role Overview

You will be an integral part of our team as a Director/Script Intern, assisting the Director directly and contributing to script development, research, and creative coordination across the entire production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director in day-to-day project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Collaborate with the team for developing English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures.
  • Conduct background research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics.
  • Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  • Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding.
  • Ensure alignment between the script and the visual storytelling approach.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Film school education or recent graduation in a related field.
  • A strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films.
  • The ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork skills.
