Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures to safeguard our systems, networks, and data.

Closer collaboration with IT, DevOps, and Compliance teams ensures seamless cybersecurity integration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure solutions for IT infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Regular monitoring of networks and systems for potential breaches, anomalies, and threats.
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans; lead response efforts during security incidents.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other advanced security tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into DevSecOps best practices.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • Update and maintain comprehensive security documentation, runbooks, and technical reports.
  • Educate employees and developers on critical cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • In-depth understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, Wireshark, etc.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GIAC.
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture.
