Job Opportunity

We seek a seasoned professional to lead our Master Data strategy and implementation for MES. As the MES Master Data Leader, you will drive the preparation, validation, and governance of master data across manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and execute the MES master data readiness workstream for global or multi-site rollouts.
  • Collaborate with plant teams, manufacturing engineers, and ERP teams to gather essential master data elements: materials/BOMs, routings, work centers, resources, shifts, personnel roles, tools, inspection characteristics.
  • Establish data standards, templates, and governance models to ensure consistency across sites.
  • Lead data cleansing, enrichment, and validation activities in partnership with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Ensure alignment between MES master data and upstream systems (e.g., ERP, PLM).
  • Support data load planning, execution, and reconciliation activities in MES systems.
  • Conduct gap assessments and define data remediation plans per site.
  • Provide support during go-lives, including data-related issue triaging and resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing systems or master data management.
  • Strong understanding of MES platforms (e.g., GE Proficy, Siemens Opcenter, SAP ME/MII).
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing master data objects and their interdependencies.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) for routing and BOM alignment.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, data analysis tools, and structured data handling.
About You
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools or middleware (e.g., LSMW, BODS, CPI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and digital shop floor processes.
