About this Opportunity

We are seeking a mechanical engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on precision part design and documentation for CNC-machined and cast components.

As a key member of the team, you will help shape the direction of AI-driven solutions by bringing on the table mechanical engineering knowledge and experience with geometrical tolerancing, ensuring designs are manufacturing readiness and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing simulations and tests to validate designs, creating technical drawings and documentation,
  • Apply GD&T per ISO, ASME Y14.5 standards to define form, fit, and function of parts
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to iterate on designs
  • Support design reviews and provide technical input on manufacturability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2–7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production, with a primary focus on CNC machining and casting
  • Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software i.e. NX, CATIA 
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles
  • ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory
