Job Title

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team of innovators at SIX Payment Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and user-friendly web solutions using modern front-end technologies, including React.js.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve our web development processes.
  • Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver outstanding user experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong focus on JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Web Components, and HTML/CSS.
  • Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
  • Experience with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., npm).
  • Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, BitBucket.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug code.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with back-end technologies and frameworks (Java implementation).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest.js).
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Knowledge of other front-end libraries and frameworks.
  • Proficiency with GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence.
