Job Title: Senior Test Engineer - Durability Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute vehicle durability testing programs, focusing on 2-wheeler domain expertise.
- Maintain accurate records of test details, including on-road testing and data acquisition.
- Integrate sensors such as strain gauges, accelerometers, LVDT force transducers, and DAQ systems.
- Analyze road load data and ensure its legitimacy.
- Determine damage factors for target vehicle life, derive accelerated test profiles, and conduct component-level fatigue tests.
- Develop methods to test new components without existing standards, collecting actual road condition data.
- Prepare test setups, fixtures, and manufacturing experience for structural durability and component-level testing.
Required Skills:
- Skilled problem solver with expertise in hardware tools like Simens SCADA and SEADAC.
- Analytical experience in software such as nCODE and LMS Testlab.
- Basic knowledge of EV components and their behavior.
- Prior experience with sensors and data acquisition systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of designing tools like Solidworks is an added advantage.
Estimated Salary: ₹12-18 lakhs per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
