Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have complete ownership of multiple projects, applying domain expertise and innovative ideas to architect design solutions. They will lead a project team involved in the development of products, owning all aspects of architecture design and development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete technical ownership of multiple projects
  • Apply domain expertise and innovative ideas to architect design solutions
  • Lead a project team involved in product development
  • Owning products from a technical angle covering all aspects of architecture design and development practices
  • Provide technical leadership to team members and resolve complex issues through hands-on approach as required
  • Build technical expertise in various areas as needed
  • Design and build deployment environments using cloud platforms
  • Setting up Kubernetes clusters for application deployment
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time on tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 years' experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience architecting solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud providers
  • Comprehensive understanding of security technologies and processes, secure software development, Application Security, data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management, IAM, network security within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments
  • Working knowledge of common and industry-standard authentication mechanisms OAuth, OpenID, etc.
  • Experience with deployment orchestration automation and security configuration management Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc. preferred
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services
  • Experience working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers CASBs, and server virtualization technologies
  • Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for introducing new technologies
  • Experience representing technical viewpoints to diverse audiences and making timely and prudent technical risk decisions
  • Experience with enterprise architecture and working as part of a cross-functional team to implement solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, self-starter, self-motivated
  • Experience with virtualization, containers, and container management platforms Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Solid scripting skills, e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python
  • Experience in administering and performance tuning application stacks, e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Business awareness and understanding of business requirements of IT
  • A willingness to stay up-to-date with developments in new technology
