Technical Writer Intern Job Description

As a Technical Writer Intern at our organization, you will play a vital role in crafting articles and web-based materials that help self-service users learn to use our platform and achieve their marketing and efficiency objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is skilled in explaining cutting-edge technology in easy-to-understand language. You will be working closely with the Product team to design content for our global Self-service clientele, including top brands such as Marriott, Mazda, Nestle, IBM, FedEx, and Cathay Airlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build help center and training material and other content, including interactive help and in-product support
  • Own the quality of documentation and ease of understanding of the content
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging content and delivery models, and explore opportunities to leverage AI to create a more efficient and effective content generation process

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to research, write, and create content on various technical topics, with a clear understanding of the audience
  • Proficiency in adding and editing images, illustrations, videos, and audio to enhance user understanding
  • Experience working with Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel sheets
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript skills are highly desirable
  • Previous experience working in B2B SaaS companies is also a plus

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience in technical writing for B2B products, with a strong passion for communications across multiple media platforms
  • Must possess a degree in Mass Communication or Visual Communications, or English Literature as a major
