About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe CICS Administrator to join our operations team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of mainframe systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CICS systems programming and administration activities, including handling version upgrades, maintenance, and configuration changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and provide support for z/OS Connect.
  • Manage CICS resources, create and configure regions as required, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Utilize SMP/E to execute CICS maintenance activities and RDO to define and manage CICS resources online/offline.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of CICS Systems Programming and expertise in z/OS, JCL, REXX, VSAM, Endevor, CA7, ServiceNow, and z/OS Explorer.
  • Experience with CICS upgrades and maintenance via SMP/E and good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
