About This Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled baker to produce high-quality baked goods and maintain a smooth kitchen operation.

• Produce consistent, high-quality baked goods using metric and imperial measurement systems.
• Maintain and operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to strict food safety protocols.
• FOLLOW PRODUCTION SCHEDULES AND MISE-EN-PLACE REQUIREMENTS TO MEET DAILY INVENTORY NEEDS.
• Manage daily inventory and report stock accurately, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all bakery workspaces.
• Store, package, and label bakery items correctly, handling hot or hazardous baking items with care.
• Participate in daily production meetings and execute assigned tasks, working efficiently under pressure.

• Diploma in Bakery (mandatory).
• Industrial training required; on-the-job bakery training preferred.
• 1-2.5 years of practical hands-on bakery experience.
• Strong understanding of metric and imperial measurement systems.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Comfortable working in hot, humid kitchen environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Intermediate knowledge of bakery operations and mise-en-place.
