Electronics Engineering Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to lead our development of India's first commercial Scanning Electron Microscope.

This cutting-edge platform enables the nanoscale visualization, pattern recognition, and rigorous measurement of materials.

As our Electronics Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for designing high-voltage systems, mixed-signal circuits, FPGA development, and timing foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design a robust timing and synchronization backbone for the lockstep operation of optics, detectors, motion, and software.
  • Develop mixed-signal boards for beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
  • Ensure clean, stable power and grounding/shielding for quiet images and strong electromagnetic compatibility behavior.
  • Provide diagnostics, fixtures, and logs for field-debuggable issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics equipment.
  • Strong bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up; pragmatic about testability and manufacturability.
  • Collaborative and documentation-minded, thinking in interfaces and failure modes.
