Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Architect to design, deploy and manage our cloud infrastructure.
Duration: 6 months with possible extension, working hours: Full EST hours (night shift), Location: 100% remote (India)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases and Lambda functions.
- Assist in design, implementation and maintenance of backup, high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration and maintenance of cloud resources.
- Monitor system performance, analyze trends and implement betterments to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
- Administer company SaaS platforms to ensure the productivity of users.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
- Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools.
- Proven hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
