Briq is revolutionizing the construction financial management, planning, and intelligence software industry, and we're looking for a skilled Sr Full Stack Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer to lead our engineering efforts in developing innovative solutions using Python, Flask, microservice architecture, and LLM APIs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality code, optimizing performance, and staying up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the successful execution of software engineering activities related to key product feature development, system architecture, and technical design
  • Design, develop, and maintain Python code and front-end integrations for LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, GPT)
  • Optimize and fine-tune LLM API usage for performance, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in AI/ML technologies and apply them to improve the product

What We Offer:

Briq offers a competitive salary of $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Our company culture emphasizes collaboration, communication, and ownership, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using modern web frameworks and backend technology stacks
  • Strong understanding of databases, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience in database design and management
  • Experience with microservice architectures and developing microservices using Python/Flask, Go, or similar
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) for deploying scalable solutions
  • Understanding of data processing and working with large datasets
  • Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMq, or Google Pubsub
