Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Engineering: Develop detailed designs for cockpit parts and assemblies using Catia V5R25, adhering to engineering guidelines and checklists.
  • Data Evaluation: Assess data received from suppliers, ensuring it meets engineering deliverables, and decide on the next course of action to meet project milestones.
  • Product Data Management: Create and manage product data structures in PLM systems, guaranteeing BOM quality.
  • Design Standards and Strategy: Support the development of design standards and carryover strategies aligned with technical policies and technology roadmaps.
  • Technical Proposals: Craft technical proposals for new concepts and resolve technical issues or design deficiencies to meet attributes.
  • VMTL Support: Provide support for project deliverables as per Gen3 milestones and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Education: BE/ Btech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in design and engineering, with at least one completed cockpit design/ development project from styling to launch.
  • Skills: Proficient in Catia V5R25, with expertise in best modeling practices; knowledge of six sigma tools, GD&T, EPS, and NPI process.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with regulations, test standards, and requirements; understanding of plastic component design, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
