The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Strategic Brand Visionary to join our dynamic new business and pitch team. This role involves working closely with the strategy lead to craft strategic outputs, including creative briefs, research reports, analyses, developing narratives, strategic points of view, and go-to-market plans. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of brand positioning and consumer insights, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable creative direction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing Strategic Outputs: Collaborate with the strategy lead to create comprehensive creative briefs, research reports, and analyses that guide the creative process.
- Crafting Narratives: Develop compelling narratives that articulate brand stories and resonate with target audiences, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Pitch Kickoff: Take the lead in initiating the pitch process by clearly understanding the brand's ask and brief, conducting thorough research to build a clear strategic direction.
- Creative Brief Creation: Develop strategic briefs for the creative team, providing clear guidance that enables the generation of innovative ideas and visuals.
- Strategic POVs: Formulate strategic points of view on brand positioning, market trends, and consumer behavior to inform and enhance campaign development.
- Go-to-Market Planning: Design and implement effective go-to-market strategies that maximize brand impact and drive growth, ensuring successful execution across all channels.
- Research and Insights: Conduct in-depth market research and consumer analysis to gather insights that inform strategic decisions and creative direction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, account management, and other functions, to ensure cohesive execution of brand strategies.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their goals and challenges, providing strategic recommendations that enhance brand positioning and market performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5-10 years in brand strategy, marketing, or a related field, preferably within an advertising agency or consultancy. Strong proven experience in working on new business pitches will be given preference.
- Strategic Acumen: Strong understanding of brand positioning, market dynamics, and consumer insights, with a proven ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in conducting research and analysis, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
