Job Title: Product Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at Shivaanya Talent Solutions LLP. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and creating intuitive, visually appealing product interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to understand product goals and user needs
  • Conduct user research, create user personas, and develop user journey maps to inform design decisions
  • Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications, focusing on usability, accessibility, and visual appeal
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts
  • Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products
  • Participate in user testing and incorporate feedback into design iterations
  • Stay up-to-date on UX/UI best practices, design trends, and emerging technologies
  • Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
  • Contribute to the product development process from ideation to launch
  • Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI design
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
  • Experience with design systems and component-based design
  • Familiarity with web and mobile design patterns and best practices
  • Knowledge of basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their capabilities
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance user needs with business requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Portfolio demonstrating your design process and problem-solving abilities
