Job Overview:

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests for our mobile apps on various platforms (iOS and Android). You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile automation frameworks, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using tools like Appium, Espresso, and XCTest.

- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of test automation frameworks.

- Maintain test documentation, including plans, cases, and reports.

- Provide updates on test status, progress, and issues to stakeholders.

- Collaborate to define test strategies, plans, and cases.

- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects.

- Implement QA best practices and standards.

- Recommend and integrate new tools and technologies.

- Mentor junior QA engineers on automation and testing methodologies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on mobile automation testing and manual testing.

- Proficiency in at least one mobile automation framework (Appium, Espresso, XCTest, etc.).

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java or Python.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Solid understanding of mobile development processes and best practices.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in the financial services domain is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (e.g., AWS Device Farm, Firebase Test Lab).

- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.

- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
