We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as Chief Engineer Leader. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the School of Engineering.
About the Role- Leadership and Strategy: Lead the School of Engineering in achieving its goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the university's vision and mission.
- Industry Partnerships: Establish strong partnerships with leading technology and engineering companies to provide students with opportunities for internships, placements, and entrepreneurial ventures.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with Industry 4.0 and emerging global trends, preparing students for the challenges of tomorrow.
- Research and Innovation: Foster a culture of research and innovation, mentoring faculty members to publish papers, secure patents, and develop projects.
- Student Success: Ensure students' success and career readiness through various initiatives, including internships, placements, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
- Qualifications: PhD in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent senior professional expertise.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in academia, research, or R&D leadership, with a proven track record of delivering impact.
- Skills: Proven ability to build programs and strengthen industry-academia partnerships.
