Senior Network Security Specialist

This is a senior level position responsible for leading and managing teams of network security consultants.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of the consulting team, ensuring timely delivery of projects and maintaining high morale.
  • Define and implement key delivery strategies, processes, procedures, guidelines, tools, and methods to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Manage client relationships, identify talent within the team, and develop plans for employee growth and development.
  • Develop and improve policies and processes in support of the organization's mission and objectives.
  • Formulate skill improvement and training plans to enhance technical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, people management, and team management skills are essential.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Good knowledge of networking, security technologies, multi-vendor network security solutions, and security monitoring and management tools.
  • Knowledge of Cisco routing, switching, networking, and security firewall experience.
  • Experience on Cisco switches, routers, and network security technologies like ACLs, VPN, L2VPN, L3VPN, IPSEC, GRE etc.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BSc, BE, B.Tech in Telecommunication or equivalent.
  • Technical certifications: minimum CCNP, CCDP, CCIP level or equivalent experience.
  • Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Juniper Bluecoat, F5 technical certifications would be an added advantage.
  • Presales experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English; other languages are a plus.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years related work experience in customer-facing organizations within the Telecom or IT industry.
  • 2 to 3 years of which in technology design consulting.
  • Detail-oriented time management skills and independent self-starter.
  • Others:
  • Reasonable business and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Staying abreast of technical issues, options, and advancements within the internetworking industry.
  • Maintaining and developing technical specialization and certifications.
  • Contributing to knowledge management through documentation of completed assignments.
