Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Application Developer to join our team at Siemens Digital Industries Software. As a key member of our Technology & Automation Systems team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting internal solutions and applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver new internal solutions or functionalities based on stakeholder requirements.
- Identify areas for improvement, automations in our support processes and systems, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and internal customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, resolving technical issues, and proposing new functionalities in a timely and efficient manner.
- Gather and analyze internal feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement, advocating for solution needs within the organization.
- Train and develop application adoption by creating training programs for multiple teams.
- Drive innovation within the organization, exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve support delivery and team satisfaction.
- Liaise with internal IT teams, lead and mentor technical professionals, and provide guidance and support to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
- Cross-functional collaboration with other departments, including product development, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and drive customer success.
Technical Skills
- Cloud application development (AWS, Azure, GCP) or implementation of SaaS products.
- Experience with application development, software development with Java, Mendix, multiple databases.
- Exposure to multiple development environments, DevOps.
- Knowledge of working in agile environments.
- Exposure to AI will be great.
- Execute multiple IT projects to automate corporate systems like Salesforce, SAP.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in software development, cloud application development, customer service, implementation of enterprise software like SAP, Salesforce.
- Experience in development environments with Java, Python, low-code applications (like Mendix), API-based integrations.
- Understanding of data models and AI applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- Motivated self-starter with a willingness to take initiative and drive results.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience working in a SaaS environment is preferred.
