Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Network Solutions Specialist. As part of our Professional Services organization, this individual will serve as an expert in networking and software-defined networking (SDN) technologies.

About the Position:

  • This position requires a deep understanding of network design and troubleshooting, as well as expertise in routing, switching, VLANs, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, and related protocols.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), VPN-as-a-Service (VPNaaS), and Load Balancer-as-a-Service (LBaaS) solutions.
  • A strong background in SDN and network function virtualization (NFV) is also required, along with experience working with OpenStack Neutron networking services and plugins.
  • Specialization in VMware networking (NSX-T, NSX-V) or OpenStack networking, with the ability to work across both stacks, is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native networking for Kubernetes (e.g., Calico, Cilium, Flannel) is also necessary.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert guidance on network design and troubleshooting for Private Cloud Director (PCD) deployments.
  2. Partner with Engineering teams to address network architecture challenges, influence product design for better interoperability, and resolve complex escalations.
  3. Support pre-sales engineers in designing network architectures for customer proposals, POCs, and technical validations.
  4. Design and document best practice network architectures for integrating PCD with physical and virtual network infrastructures.
  5. Guide SDN integration efforts across multiple vendor and open-source platforms.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of enterprise networking experience, including design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies in multi-vendor environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with Systems Integrations team, Engineering teams, and PreSales engineers.
