Remote Network Engineer Support

Skillful network support is required to ensure smooth connectivity and efficiency across global teams.

About the Role:

You will provide direct remote technical assistance for consultants and local IT professionals in India and Singapore. This position plays a critical role in the pilot deployment of a new enterprise connectivity initiative, with future expansion planned across multiple countries. Strong hands-on expertise to configure, troubleshoot, and walk end-users through solutions is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support consultants and local IT teams with device setup and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Perform comprehensive router configuration from unboxing to deployment.
  • Troubleshoot Netgear Nighthawk devices and similar enterprise Wi-Fi equipment.
  • Provide step-by-step guidance to end-users during live troubleshooting calls.
  • Manage VPN setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for remote users.
  • Document troubleshooting workflows and escalate to global IT teams when necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • At least 4 years in Network Support / IT Infrastructure roles.
  • Proven experience configuring routers, VPNs, and enterprise Wi-Fi devices.
  • Ability to explain and walk through router configuration processes (CLI/GUI).
  • Strong knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL, Cisco AnyConnect, Zscaler, etc.).
  • Hands-on troubleshooting with Netgear Nighthawk or equivalent devices.
  • Excellent English proficiency, with ability to guide consultants and IT staff effectively.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience supporting enterprise or consulting environments.
  • Exposure to large-scale multi-country IT support rollouts.
