Job Summary

A senior electrical engineer is required to oversee all electrical operations and maintenance for a facility. This role involves ensuring continuous power supply to all utilities, implementing predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, and conducting regular inspections of major electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Operations Management: Manage departmental budgets, control maintenance expenses, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Power Supply Optimization: Ensure continuous power supply to all utilities by implementing efficient power utilization strategies.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to track and maximize equipment uptime.
  • Equipment Inspections: Conduct periodical inspections of major electrical equipment, including transformers, HT/LT systems, DG sets, and lifts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for timely completion of AMC and ARC contracts.
  • CAPEX Planning: Identify and propose CAPEX needs, coordinate with project teams, and seek business excellence ideas for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Daily Tracking: Daily tracking of power consumption, optimizing power utilization, and ensuring all electrical documents are compliant with cGMP standards for audit readiness.
