Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

This role is a senior-level position responsible for designing, implementing, testing and supporting the entire data engineering stack. The ideal candidate will have full-stack development experience in React and .NET along with BI, Analytics, SQL, Data Warehouse, ETL, Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, Reporting Administration and Azure Web App.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product developers and engineers to design, build and maintain BI applications.
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions.
  • Build applications for various platforms using common frameworks including React and .NET and deploy them to Azure Web App platform.
  • Write clean, secure, reliable and testable code using React and .NET programming languages utilizing in-depth development, technical and design expertise in and SQL-Server.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 8-10 years professional experience in all stages of definition, design, implementation, testing and deployment of data engineering solutions.
  • Experience in the following tools, technologies: React, .NET, C, SQL Server, Power BI, SSRS, Azure Web App, knowledge of design patterns and architectural concepts, MVC, DI, Restful API, Microservice.
  • Hands-on experience using testing frameworks i.e. xUnit, etc. and TDD.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Software Development Process and methodologies.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday and should be flexible to support different time zones ranging between 12 PM IST to 9PM IST. Work schedule may include evening hours or weekends due to client needs per manager instructions.
