Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and preparing working drawings for HVAC systems in commercial and light industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Accurate Drawings: Develop accurate HVAC working drawings per project standards, ensuring compliance with contract documents and coordination with other services.
  • Coordinate with Other Teams: Coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting layouts to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Resolve Technical Issues: Resolve technical issues with site teams, maintaining effective communication and collaboration throughout the process.
  • Maintain Documentation: Maintain ISO documentation and drawing logs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Support Quantity Take-offs and Drawing Approvals: Assist in quantity take-offs and drawing approvals, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor Productivity: Monitor productivity and assist in QA/QC processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Identify Additional Work: Identify additional work and inform the Project Manager, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed on time.

Requirements:

  • HVAC Training Certification: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with HVAC training certification preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills, with proficiency in HVAC calculations and software (e.g., HAP).
  • Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks: Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks, with ability to work effectively in these tools.
