About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our growing Guest Experience Solutions development team. The ideal candidate will have over 8+ years of experience in Java-based software development (backend). In this role, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable SAAS applications using Java technologies like J2SE, JAX JAX-WS, JPA, and other Java application stack tools.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement scalable SAAS applications using Java technologies.
* Drive product development from concept to launch, delivering high-quality software solutions.
* Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the product by implementing Agile methodologies.
* Lead and mentor teams of developers and QA automation engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Design and manage new & existing database schema. Write and execute SQL queries to expose data to downstream components via APIs.

Requirements:
* 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Java/J2SE applications/products.
* Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Spanner).
* Strong programming skills in Java and knowledge in technologies like JAX-WS, JPA, Web Services, and Rest API design.
* Extensive knowledge of modern technologies, best practices, and agile methodologies.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Bonus Points:
* Experience with Google Cloud, BigQuery, CloudSQL, gGRPC, Kubernetes.
* Experience with modern Web application design with knowledge of how websites and web applications work, including HTML, Javascript, CSS, AJAX etc.
