Electrochemistry Specialist

In this role, you will be part of a technology-enabled team responsible for supporting various research and development activities in the field of electrochemistry.
The scope of your work will involve characterizing galvanic electrolytes through corrosion investigation, electrode characterization, and complete process characterization.
You will have access to advanced electrochemical equipment and methods which need to be adapted and further developed to suit specific problems.
As an electrochemist, you will work closely with R&D teams and the analytical material science department within the organization.
- Conduct electrochemical experiments
- Evaluate data and interpret it in relation to the defined plan
- Ensure reliable data sets via instrument maintenance and calibration procedures
- Closely communicate with all stakeholders in R&D
- Follow good laboratory practices
- Promote strict confidentiality of data, projects, and processes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Skills You Bring:- MSc or MTech in Analytical Physical Chemistry or related fields
- Focus on Electrochemistry, Surface Science, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience in electrochemical methods and/or analytics
- Preference for experience with AUTOLAB systems from Metrohm
- Proven experience in project work in at least one field of electrochemistry
- Strong communication skills and team player
- Expertise in scientific data visualization and documentation
