ERP Specialist Job Description:

Our company seeks a seasoned ERP specialist to oversee and execute projects involving organizational transitions. This includes end-to-end process mapping, configuration, data migration, compliance, and integration with external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective transition plans to ensure seamless execution of business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, ensuring alignment with business requirements and compliance standards.
  • Configure and support financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and multi-currency setups.
  • Ensure accurate handling of intercompany settlements, period-end closures, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead historical data extraction and handover to acquiring entities.
  • Integrate systems like SAP, Hyperion, and EBS during transitions.
  • Implement security controls using tools like All Out and generate SOD, sensitive access, and firefighting ID reports.
  • Prepare process documents, runbooks, and training materials.
  • Conduct user training and create self-help documentation.
  • 12–15 years of experience in ERP implementation with a focus on Finance and cross-functional modules is required.
  • Proven experience in at least one company separation, merger, or acquisition project is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of ERP configuration, data structures, and integration points is essential.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks is required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary for this role.
  • The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in project execution across multiple modules.
  • They will be responsible for managing interfaces and optimizing business processes.
