Web Development Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Web Development Manager to lead our cross-functional team of web developers and project managers. This individual will be responsible for overseeing full-cycle web development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with business goals.

This role involves:

  • Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of web developers and project managers.
  • Architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) and WordPress.
  • Oversight of end-to-end project execution — from requirement gathering to delivery — guaranteeing quality, timeliness, and adherence to project scope.
  • Collaboration with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Favorable Qualifications:

Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.

Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).

Agile/Scrum project management experience.
