Job Opportunity: Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in reviewing complex tax returns prepared by junior colleagues, fostering collaboration and teamwork, and contributing to the development of a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply your expertise in individual tax concepts, including forms 1040, 8621, 5471, 1116, 2555, 6252, and Passthrough reporting, to provide exceptional service to clients.
  • Train and assist junior colleagues with their questions on a daily basis, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Participate in tax research to deepen your understanding of tax theory and principles and apply them appropriately to individual tax returns.
  • Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns, working closely with managers as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in US Individual taxation (1040).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coach and develop junior colleagues.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of moderate and complex tax concepts, including forms like 8621, 5471, 1116, 2555, 6252, and Passthrough reporting.
