Job Role: English Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced English teacher to join our team at Kunskapsskolan India Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in grades 6-12, utilizing a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the required curriculum, demonstrating accurate and up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and subject matter.
  • Plan and deliver quality lessons to motivate students, creating and utilizing appropriate materials and classroom environment to cater to different learning styles.
  • Establish and maintain records of curriculum and year plans, attendance, teaching resources, assessment plans, etc., and share them from time to time or on request.
  • Implementation of destinations & milestones & related strategies, Lesson Plans, Worksheets, class & home assignments.
  • Preparation for instruments of assessment and implementation of weekly, unit, term, and Annual plans for assessment and evaluation according to defined criteria.
  • Giving appropriate, meaningful, and accurate feedback to students, both qualitative and quantitative, as per School Policy.
  • Ensure the Kunskapsskolan policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
  • Participate in Appraisal and Professional development (PD).
  • Participate and attend and lead where appropriate, the co-curricular, events, staff meetings, and extra-curricular programmes in the school. Promote good working relationships through active leadership and the sharing of ideas, materials, and experiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject, obtained through the regular (on-campus) mode, along with a B.Ed. qualification.
  • In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of curriculum areas, research, and educational trends in Education.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
