Job Overview

 

As an AI Expert, you will play a critical role in the strategic implementation and governance of AI tools.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Governance: Configure and manage data privacy controls to ensure secure and compliant AI initiatives.
  • Compliance Reporting: Deliver comprehensive audit logs and monitoring for AI usage to ensure regulatory standards adherence.
  • AI Security: Implement robust guardrails and moderation tools to enhance AI application security and reliability.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and analyze model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prompt Engineering: Optimize prompt engineering to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API calls, latency, and integration failures, ensuring seamless AI tool operation.
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain internal admin guides, knowledge bases, and wikis for developers and end users, and deliver training sessions for IT staff.
  • Incident Resolution: Serve as the escalation point for AI-related incidents, providing expert-level support and resolution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams to expand safe and responsible AI use across the organization.

Deliverables:

  • Serve as the AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) and oversee AI tool governance.
  • Address and resolve issues related to AI tool functionality, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of AI environments and their data by mitigating open business risks.
  • Enable AI tool functionalities for third-party applications, starting with a general introduction and expanding capabilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience delivering training and creating documentation.
