Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Big Data Engineer to lead our data engineering teams and drive the development of scalable, high-performance data infrastructure.

About the Role:

  • Oversee distributed data engineering teams across multiple geographies and time zones
  • Coordinate cross-team collaboration with architects, product managers, and operations specialists
  • Design and implement data pipelines for large-scale datasets using Scala and Python programming languages
  • Develop expertise in Apache Spark (batch & streaming) and HDFS internals
  • Experience with Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, and Apache Hudi for schema evolution and ACID transactions
  • Run Spark and Flink jobs on Kubernetes using operators like Spark-on-K8s and Flink-on-K8s
  • Build ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines for large-scale datasets
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Helm for provisioning data infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
