Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team. The role involves reviewing and evaluating the internal controls, processes, policies, and mechanisms of the organization to ensure they are adequate, effective, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning and executing financial, operational, and compliance audits, as well as investigations and other ad-hoc assignments. This will involve developing risk-based audit programs, identifying key risks and controls during each audit project, and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.

Audit Planning and Execution:

  • Plan and execute audits to ensure achievement of department objectives through planned internal audit reviews and ad hoc assignments.
  • Develop detailed audit work programs incorporating test schedules, sampling methodology, etc., to ensure that audit objectives are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Finance/Engineering or any other discipline.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of post-qualification experience through public accounting/auditing and/or industry in GCC, preferably in F&B or Retail.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certificate such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA.
