We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Manage site operations and ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement building procedures and performance measures to ensure efficiency and accuracy of work methods and reliability of systems.
  • Routinely inspect all contracted services to ensure performance measures are being maintained according to their defined SLAs and scorecards.
  • Achieve client satisfaction by implementing continuous improvement initiatives and resolving problems or improving operations.
  • Maintain equipment database for site and develop innovative programs and processes that reduce utility costs, increase productivity and savings.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in property, building or facilities management and experience in contract administration, vendor management, and staff management.

  • Contract Administration Experience required.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands.
  • Demonstrated experience with tendering and service improvement initiatives required.
  • Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems.
