Overview of the Position:

This role involves working collaboratively with a module lead and being an integral part of the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and maintaining our products
  • Contributing to the ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing of product features that will transform the capital markets
  • Designing and delivering REST APIs, interfaces, and database schemas to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance
  • Producing high-quality software following good architecture and design principles that are scalable
  • Contribution to test automation within an agile team environment
  • Participation in and contribution to architecture reviews, code reviews, design reviews, postmortems, and raising the bar for engineering best practices across the team
  • Documentation of changes and guides for applications
  • Collaboration with cross-team members and departments
  • Technical support provision for stakeholders

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in hands-on coding
  • Experience in NodeJS, Typescript/Javascript
  • Comfortable with sql and Nosql database technology e.g. MySql/Postgresql, MongoDB/Dynamodb
  • Foundation-level knowledge and programming experience with fintech lending as a bonus
  • Experience building and deploying applications and services into cloud environments (AWS stack)
