Job Overview

  • This position plays a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.
  • The ideal candidate will lead quality assurance initiatives, manage testing processes, and deliver high-quality software products that meet user expectations and business requirements.
  • Strong collaboration with development, product, and cross-functional teams is essential for driving continuous improvement and adherence to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Skill Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in testing and quality assurance for software products.
  • Familiarity with test design methodologies and management tools.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of AI & ML and Python is an advantage.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing software requirements and specifications to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and plans.
  • Designing, developing, and executing test cases across various platforms.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using bug-tracking systems.
  • Analyzing test results and reporting observations to design and development teams.
  • Performing different types of testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and drive defect resolution.
  • Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements and potential problems or testability.
  • Maintaining test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills:

  • Test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium).
  • Experience with TDD and Python.

Preferred Skills:

  • AI/ML.

Experience:

  • Senior Test Specialist: At least 10 years in IT, 8+ years in Testing.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
