About the Role

We are seeking a skilled technologist to join our Pre-Transactions Risk Engineering team.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for architecting and designing real-time, low-latency, highly scalable, and highly available software solutions across various fraud and risk domains.

You will work closely with architects across domains to design and deliver complex products.

Your expertise will be invaluable in mentoring a team of engineers and leading them by reviewing and testing their solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy risk applications and services.
  • Participate actively in solution architecture that involves multiple systems.
  • Identify product/functionality gaps and collaborate with internal teams to define necessary development to support solution delivery.
  • Drive integration efforts and lead critical work streams of strategic initiatives.
  • Drive engineering excellence.
  • Pro-actively respond in identifying and troubleshooting integration or technical issues.
  • Challenge the status quo when needed.

What You Need to Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
  • 14+ years' experience building software or web applications with object-oriented or functional programming languages.
  • Expert knowledge in React, Mobile Frameworks, Java, REST.
  • Familiarity with other languages and technologies like databases, Python.
  • Experience in various architecture design patterns, design, and implementation of Financial Systems/Platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to scope, create, and successfully deploy new strategy/initiatives/capabilities.
  • A deep understanding of data structures, object-oriented design, and algorithms.
  • Experience working with large-scale, highly available, and distributed systems.
  • Competent in software engineering tools (e.g., Java build tools) and best practices (e.g., unit testing, test automation, continuous integration, etc.)
  • Good communication skills.
