Job Title: Public Relations Specialist

The role of a PR specialist involves working closely with internal teams to develop media strategies, engage with media professionals, execute public relations campaigns, and ensure smooth communication throughout client projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting high-quality press releases, listing notes, pitch notes, product notes, media FAQs, and other materials aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Building and maintaining media lists, sending media invites, conducting follow-ups with journalists, bloggers, and influencers, and engaging in media rounds to secure placements.
  • Supporting event planning and execution, including developing checklists, managing logistics, assembling media kits, and preparing post-event reports.
  • Preparing monthly reports, including cost-benefit analysis (CBA), daily news monitoring, work-in-progress (WIP) updates, and tracking the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Conducting secondary research for press releases, business development pitches, concept notes, and quarterly or annual plans, providing valuable insights.
  • Responding promptly to client communication, sending meeting minutes (MoMs) within 24 hours, and providing regular updates, reports, and work-in-progress status.
  • Identifying relevant media opportunities, including potential award platforms for client submissions, and tracking industry trends and key publications.
  • Organizing, assembling, and printing media kits for client meetings and events to ensure all materials are prepared professionally.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in PR or a media-related role.
  • Experience working with Fashion/Lifestyle or Hospitality/F&B brands is a plus.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and online communication tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge of media databases, influencers, and industry trends is a plus.
