Cloud Engineering Lead Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure and working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms. Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration and experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms
  • Architect and deploy cloud-based solutions
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using DevOps practices
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads
  • Establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure and working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration and experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Azure certifications
  • Experience with Azure governance and compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures
  • Background in supporting enterprise-scale applications
