About the Role

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in software testing.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual with a passion for quality and a strong understanding of software testing principles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing web and/or mobile applications and be proficient in automation testing tools such as FireFlink.

The role involves collaborating with development, product, and design teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle. You will also be responsible for developing and executing FireFlink automation scripts and maintaining the automation framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation Testing: Perform automated testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and ensure functionality, usability, and performance using FireFlink platform.
  • Test Case Development: Create detailed test cases and execute them effectively to ensure thorough coverage.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and design teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Script Development: Develop and execute FireFlink automation scripts and assist in maintaining the automation framework.
  • Defect Logging: Log defects clearly and track them through resolution, reporting QA metrics as needed.
  • Supporting Testing Efforts: Support regression, smoke, and exploratory testing efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1–2 years of experience in software testing.
  • Hands-on experience in testing web and/or mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools such as FireFlink.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles.
  • Detail-oriented and motivated individual with a passion for quality.
